Cultural Heritage: Transition and Transformation
The 2018 ICOM's International Committee for Exhibition Exchange (ICEE) Annual Conference travels to Spain in partnership with ICOM's International Committee for Museums and Collections of Fine Arts (ICFA). This joint conference provides a unique multicultural, and multidisciplinary forum for exchange of ideas, knowledge and experiences. The event offers a strategic opportunity for participants to expand their professional networks.

The conference schedule includes two full days of ICEE ICFA joint sessions in Madrid, and three additional full days of individual ICEE activities in Barcelona including one day post-conference workshop, and a post-conference program in Sitges.

The ICEE Board invites expressions of interest from its members and other organizations around the world to host the Annual Conference in 2018.
The planning of the ICEE Annual Conference involves working in close collaboration with ICOM national committees, museums, cultural institutions, colleagues, and sponsors in hosting countries to showcase relevant examples of best practices and innovation in our field.
Typically, the conference programme runs from Monday through Friday including a one day pre-conference workshop, three full days of conference sessions including the Marketplace of Exhibitions and Ideas, behind the scenes museum tours and off-site visits to relevant cultural heritage sites, and optional post-conference activities.
Guidelines to submit expressions of interest to host the 2018 ICEE Conference are available HERE. Proposals should be addressed to Antonio Rodríguez, ICEE Chairman of the Board, and Anne-Marie Raymond, ICEE Secretary, and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than August 31, 2017.
